Cub Scouts

Winnebago has four dens of Cub Scouts. They belong to the North Star District of the Twin Valley Council.

Scouting helps young boys to develop a sense of duty to God and Country. They learn to help other people and to obey the laws of the pack. Winnebago Scouts enjoy the annual Pine Wood Derby help in conjunction with the annual Blue and Gold banquet in February. The Scouts have outdoor opportunities at Day Camp, Fun with Sun activities, and Webelos Camp. These events take place a Cedar Point in Fairmont and at Norseland near St. Peter.

Other annual events include Popcorn Sales, the Scout-o-Rama in Fairmont and the Scouting for Food day in March when the Scouts gather food for the area food shelf.
